![]() ![]() ![]() Now Martin Lawrence is here to ostensibly put the final nail in the Bad Boys III coffin. Then Sony pulled the picture from their release slate (it was set for November 2018) a few weeks back, making it seem like they were dropping the film completely (I could’ve said “like it’s hot”, but we all would’ve frowned upon that). Though Joe Carnahan was an interesting choice as Bay’s replacement, the fact that he left the project back in March was the first sign the movie was in trouble. ![]() It’s a movie I’ve gone on record saying that we probably don’t ever need to see (despite my unabashed adoration of Michael Bay’s madcap sequel). It feels like Bad Boys III (a/k/a Bad Boys for Life) has been in the works for approximately half my lifetime.
